From the 1st of February 2022, we are in the Chinese zodiac sign of the water tiger. Known as the king of all beasts in China, the Tiger symbolizes strength, braveness, and exorcizing evils. The Chinese zodiac is a traditional classification scheme based on the lunar calendar that assigns an animal and its reputed attributes to each year in a repeating twelve-year cycle. Tigers inspire fear and respect and stir a feeling of awe. With their sleek and powerful muscles, ready to pounce, they are magnificent creatures full of ferocity and power. They represent confidence in overcoming obstacles and are highly driven and devoted.
A year of the Water Tiger is considered a good year. Imagine a tiger in water; that is the kind of energy we will be in—a year that will likely be as a tiger; dynamic, rapid, and powerful. We will see significant changes this year, both personally and collectively. The Water Tiger reminds us to be intuitive, discover unknown waters, the mystic life, and use non-forceful instinct to catch these things yet to be learned. And to not be victims but rather be aware that we can rise above any wrongdoings, not judge and blame others for our experiences and instead be grateful for the lessons we need to experience as human beings. As we are moving through this “emotional” year; It’s essential to be aware that people whose beliefs clash with ours can exert profound emotional pressure. We have to be compassionate with ourselves and others to create more peace within and without. Likely, those who resist listening to their inner voice, using their common sense, and wanting things their way at all costs might be in for a rude awakening. The Water Tiger will connect us to our deepest innermost passions, and we will want to feel independent. It’s necessary through this time to be conscious so that we don’t end up too much in our head and become too self-centered, thus forging ahead more impulsively than would be wise.
If we stay tolerant, generous, optimistic, pragmatic, and rely on a healthy dose of humor, we will have creative energies and impetus for action. By focusing on achieving happiness within ourselves, not by craving it from the outside, we can overcome financial greed and selfishness and live a year where increased compassion, integrity, kindness, awareness, and truth will be rewarded.
Being grounded and emotionally prepared will help us ride the waves of unexpected change that sudden and surprising disruptions can cause. The water tiger reminds us that we will be in rough waters; we can expect water disasters and conflicts, volatile emotions and general instability.
Globally and collectively, we will likely see rebellions and freedom fights, but if we connect to our higher self, the source, it will be easier to deal with conflicts. A tiger is intuitive and takes risks, so by learning how to connect to your intuition, through, e.g., mediation, you will know how to proceed in the best way. 2022 is a good year for stepping out fearlessly to speak your truth and be heard, and taking risks can pay off. Tigers are not frightened by competition but move forward in stealth determination.
Starting a new business will likely prove very beneficial, especially if we have bright, innovative ideas, remain humble, and value empathy and altruism. Just make sure your ethics are strong and follow your heart, not your ego; working hard will achieve your desired results. However, being fluid like water, going with the flow is encouraged since cooperative endeavors requiring mutual trust could easily break.
Be prepared for the truth that everything changes all the time.
Be Stellar,
Ebba
